PRODUCT REVIEW: Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein Rocky Road

I was introduced to the Chocolate version of this product and really like the way it mixed up easily in water or soy milk. I decided to try the Rocky Road version and found that I enjoy it even more. The best part is that you can mix it up in low fat, no sugar yogurt and have a great dessert or snack without all the hidden junk you don't need. I've also found that you can mix it up easily at work with a spoon without any hassles. I haven't tried it with fruit yet but I'm betting it would taste really good with banana.

Definitely give this a try if you're tired of the vanilla or chocolate routine. It's a nice change of pace and really cheap!

If you're looking for an easy way to get some protein away from home, these packets are incredibly helpful and delicious. You can just toss one in your bag and mix it up @ work. I've tried several flavors but the cheapest, best buy is just getting the 20 packets of VANILLA and mixing them up with your favorite fruit. While the chocolate is pretty tasty, I prefer the vanilla texture and the way it compliments almost any fruit.

42 grams of protein, less than 1g of sugar. Excellent!
