MRM Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA) performs both enzyme co-factor and antioxidant functions in the body. It is naturally found in the body as dehydrolipoate or lipoate. Its unique fatty acid thiol structure makes it both fat and water soluble, which allows it to function in the regeneration of Vitamin C and E (powerful antioxidants) and glutathione. ALA has recently been shown to support normal carbohydrate metabolism, detroxification and eye function. Contains no common allergens or artificial colors.
