Super Omega 3-6-9 helps Cardiovascular Health from Borage, Flax Seed and Fish Oil. Super Omega 3-6-9 is a blend of Fish, Borage and Organic Flax Seed Oils. This combination of well-known nutritional oils provides a unique balance of Omega-3 and Omega-6 Essential Fatty Acids plus Omega-9, a non-essential, but beneficial fatty acid. The Omega-3's, Alpha Linolenic Acid, EPA and DHA, and the Omega-6, GLA, are necessary for the maintenance of cardiovascular, nervous system and skin health. Studies have as well been done on these fats improving brain functions. The Durham trial was conducted by Dr Alex Richardson, a senior research fellow in physiology at Mansfield College, University of Oxford and Madeleine Portwood, a special educational psychologist for Durham Local Education Authority.
The results have not yet been published, but they are expected to show a statistically significant improvement in school performance in the group of children given Omega 3 supplements. This does not mean that every child
benefited from the treatment many did not. But according to Portwood, about 40% of children showed some clear improvement.
