MHP Supplements was born out of a friendship between World Class Bodybuilder, Gerard Dente, and Dr. Vincent Giampapa, MD, a world-renowned hormonal manipulation and anti-aging physician. A working relationship between Giampapa’s staff of expert scientists and doctors, and the staff of sports nutritionists and biochemists at MHP has made it possible to provide YOU with the most technologically advanced sports nutrition supplements available through modern science.
Gerard Dente has been involved in the sports and nutrition industry for practically his entire life. As a kid, Gerard took an early liking to football, where he excelled as an All-State Athlete. But his training efforts in the weight room to pack on mass for the gridiron opened the eyes of many to his amazing physique. After his freshman football season at MSU, the older peers at his gym convinced Gerard to hit the posing platform. And the rest as they say, is history.
At the young age of 18 years old, Gerard won the New Jersey NPC Bodybuilding Championships. The following year, he went on to compete at the national level, where he won the Teen National Championships and the Collegiate National Crown. Dente continued to compete at the very competitive national bodybuilding level until 1996, when he decided it was time to pursue an even greater goal… one that would prove to be very dear to him and very important for him and the fitness community.
Citing the need for effective, scientifically formulated nutrition supplements within the bodybuilding community, Dente formed MHP (Maximum Human Performance) in 1997 with the flagship product Secretagogue-One , a clinically researched HGH releaser that has since become the #1 HGH product in the country. Since that time, the growing R&D team at MHP has developed more than 20 of the most innovative and effective products the sports nutrition industry has ever seen.
Besides CEO of MHP, Dente has recently acquired the new title of “Accomplished Author.” Although he has appeared as in just about every popular fitness publication as a writer and fitness authority, Dente took his life’s experience in sports and nutrition supplementation, and hit the research books to pen the revolutionary diet book, Macrobolic Nutrition. The Chief Scientific Officer for MHP, Inc., Dr. Vincent Giampapa, is also an expert in natural hormone manipulation and is the founder and chairman of the Giampapa Institute of Anti-Aging. Dr. Giampapa was a founder of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and the first President of the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine, the A4M branch that writes and administers the certification exam for doctors wishing to specialize in Anti-Aging Medicine. An accomplished author in nationally published medical journals, he most recently authored the books Pro-Hormone Nutrition, Quantum Longevity, and Breaking the Aging Code. In addition to his achievements in anti-aging and hormone replacement therapy, Dr. Giampapa is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and director of The Plastic Surgery Center and National Skin Institute in Montclair, New Jersey. |
